The Bermuda Casino Gaming Commission (BCGC) has formalised a cooperative relationship with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) in the US.

Under the partnership, the BCGC and NJDGE will share information on matters related to the regulation of gaming

Richard Schuetz, executive director of the BCGC, said that the new deal will give companies active in Bermuda assurance that they can operate in the country with “character, honesty and integrity”.

“The NJDGE is one of the most well-respected regulatory agencies in the world,” Schuetz said.

“Our ability to work with them will allow us to expedite many regulatory processes, as well as helping us ensure that the people and firms-allowed to do business in Bermuda operate with the highest levels of character, honesty and integrity.”
