EGBA partner with Clarion on WrB webinar series

Clarion Gaming’s ongoing WrB Responsible Gambling Webinar Series is bringing on the European Gaming and Betting Association as a strategic partner to promote their ongoing webinar series, which provides free information and insights to gambling operators on Responsible Gambling.

EGBA work together with European regulators and stakeholders to provide a high duty of care to customers and greater consumer protection laws, with member companies totalling more than 12 million customers in Europe.

With continued regulatory change in Europe and the US aimed at raising the standard of care for customers, operators and industry experts will share their experiences increasing impetus on responsible gambling and provide free advice and training, and with EGBA’s backing, broaden the reach of the project to more European attendees.

Maarten Haijer, Secretary General, EGBA, will also be moderating our highly anticipated panel on advertising, taking place January 8th alongside Malta Gaming Authority, GVC, RAIG and Advertising Standards: “We’re delighted to be participating in this exciting WrB webinar series. Advertising is one of the hot topics facing regulators and betting operators right across Europe and I look forward to having a constructive debate on how best to strike a balance between the right to advertise and preventing irresponsible advertising.”

The second episode of WrB, ‘Evaluating your monitoring process to define your sustainable and at-risk players’ goes live Wednesday 25th September 3pm BST, featuring Norsk Tipping, who will be discussing their successful interaction program, therapy providers and consultants Gordon Moody and BreakEven, moderated by David Clifton of Clifton Davies Consultancy.
