Habanero launches Ruffled Up
Feathers set to fly with immersive HTML5 slot
Quality slots and table games provider Habanero has signalled the launch of a host of innovative new content with the release of its brand new slots title Ruffled Up.
The cross-platform game immerses players in a visually-rich user experience featuring brightly-coloured birds who flutter on and off an old-fashioned telegraph wire rather than appearing on spinning reels.
During the gameplay the background changes as the story unfolds, while happy sounds and bright colours combine to shape an entertaining game that is perfect for Mobile.
The arrival of three or more Stormbringer birds triggers the exciting new lightning feature as sunny skies turn stormy.
And besides paying in combinations, birds are hit at random by lightning for additional pays, which cause the other cute birds to get into a flutter – hence the name Ruffled Up.
Nic Ioannoy, CEO of Habanero, said: “We’re very excited about Ruffled up, which we’ll be demonstrating at ICE in the New Year. It’s quite a different game compared to other content on the market at the moment.
“As with all our content, it is developed in HTML5 to give a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile. Thanks to optimised coding, it still manages to cram in stunning visuals and 39 different sound files – approximately twice that of typical games.”
Ruffled Up joins Habanero’s stable of 60+ slots, six table games, and 10 video poker titles and will shortly be integrated directly to over 20 operators.
Besides English, the company’s games are available in 14 other languages, including eight European and six Asian ones.
Habanero, who will be making their exhibitor debut on stand N2-234 at ICE Totally Gaming in February, was purchased by European investors in 2012 and has offices in Johannesburg, Manila, Sofia, and Kiev.
Their team of skilled designers, developers, and mathematicians are enjoying increasing success with their mobile-enabled games, which are tailored to individual devices and operating systems.
