WrB announce partnership with ECA to promote free Responsible Gambling webinar series after successful first episode

Clarion Gaming’s WrB brand have partnered with the European Casino Association to provide strategic support for the webinar series WrB Responsible Gambling, which provides free ongoing content to the industry to raise awareness of harm prevention and provide solutions for operators.

The series, taking place monthly across July 2019 – January 2020 and already in full swing, is Clarion’s first offering of free interactive training and will dovetail with ICE London taking place in February alongside the third edition of the Consumer Protection Zone.

The partnership aims to broaden the reach of responsible gambling content to operators, suppliers and regulators across different markets and gambling verticals, and allow attendees to interact with speakers and ask questions in the lead up to and during each episode.

With countless regulatory developments in Europe and operators taking their own action, this partnership allows Clarion and ECA to provide a platform for free training and open up the conversation between leading RG experts and operators looking to evolve their business to suit the changing social and regulatory climate surrounding gambling.

Speaking on the partnership, Per Jaldung, Chairman of the ECA said: “We are delighted to partner with Clarion Gaming for this important initiative aimed at promoting Responsible Gambling. Within the ECA and its members, a responsible approach to gambling is firmly rooted in our ethos. We are actively targeting this area through our own Responsible Gambling Framework that sets an industry standard for an effective approach to managing Responsible Gambling. We believe that the WrB webinar series on Responsible Gambling will enable an exchange of best practices across the industry that will be fruitful for a thriving, sustainable and responsible gambling industry.”

The first episode of Clarion Gaming’s free webinar series kicked off on July 24th with a strong opening to the series from IGT’s Stefania Colombo, Threat Metrix’s Nick Jacobs and Christina Thakor-Rankin from 1710 Gaming. With 90 different companies registering from 27 different countries, future episodes are sure to be strong examples of the reach free responsible gambling content can have the increasingly socially-aware industry.
