La Française des Jeux (FDJ) has launched Go Mojo, a free-play digital gaming platform underpinned by blockchain technology, that allows players to win prizes of up to €100,000.
The Go Mojo platform is developed in partnership with new media and marketing technology specialist Redpill, with players accumulating virtual currency that can be used to pay for entry to a range of different game types.
It uses blockchain technology to guarantee the security and the integrity of the games offered, FDJ added.
Players are given 30 credits upon sign-up, and can earn more by watching adverts or through referral bonuses for new sign-ups.
The platform currently offers a range of games, based on a variety of different themes, seven of which can be played to accumulate credits. There are also three – Go Mojo, Go 100 and Go Lucky – where players can bet credits to win real-money prizes.
Go Mojo, the flagship game, offers weekly draws with a top prize of €100,000 on Wednesdays and Sundays. Go 100, meanwhile, holds draws every two minutes, offering prizes of up to €100.
The final title, Go Lucky, uses a raffle format with a weekly draw featuring a €500 prize every Monday. Players can then withdraw winnings of €20 or more after verifying their identity documents to ensure they are of age.
