GAN has struck a deal with Rock Gaming to launch its Simulated Gaming online experience with three of the US casino operator’s land-based facilities in Ohio.

Pending regulatory approval, the Horseshoe Casino Cleveland, Horseshoe Casino Cincinnatti and ThistleDown Racino will launch the service.

Simulated Gaming, which is due to go live on web and mobile platforms during the first half of this year, will be operated from the GameSTACK internet gaming system in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The service will feature more than 200 casino slot and table games including poker, backgammon, gin rummy, poker dice and blackjack tournaments.

“After a careful review of the fast-growing online social casino market, GAN proved to be a great match for our needs and the needs of our patrons,” Rock Gaming chief executive Matthew Cullen said.

“We look forward to being able to offer our patrons a fun and interactive way to engage with our properties in Ohio.”

Dermot Smurfit, chief executive of GAN, added: “Our Simulated Gaming partnership with Rock Gaming is another major step in expanding our Simulated Gaming offering in the US where we have pursued a regional strategy now deployed coast-to-coast.

“Rock Gaming’s Ohio properties provide GAN with access to a significant part of the Midwestern US region which we will be privileged to launch online before the summer.”
