An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated content marketing & social media executive to join Clarion Gaming’s marketing team.

 This role requires a creative individual with an abundance of content marketing experience, both in terms of direction and production.

A successful candidate will be a creative and dynamic thinker who will demonstrate their ability to provide the “hook” to encourage prospects to share their data progressively with the business throughout the customer value journey, in alignment with the key commercial goals of the business.

Reporting to and working in collaboration with the acquisition manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing lead magnet content across all core brands to support the data acquisition goals of the business, as well as planning and delivering content calendars across our organic social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Magnets

Planning, managing and generating content marketing and lead magnet assets for full-funnel marketing campaigns, in alignment with key business objectives, and in collaboration with the content team, the acquisition & retention manager and the marketing operations team. These assets will drive sustainable audience growth and engagement across all key data lists across both our event and content website portfolio, measured in:

  • Newsletter list growth
  • Webinar sign up
  • Site traffic across all content sites (,, and event sites (ICE London, iGB Live, iGB Affiliate London, etc.)
  • Exhibitor leads
  • Social media growth
  • Attendee registrations

Working in collaboration with the acquisition manager and SEO & social media exec, you will be responsible for the generation of content marketing and lead magnet assets to support campaigns, including:

Top of funnel:

  • Search-optimised blog posts
  • Social media video
  • Infographics
  • Teaser content

Middle funnel:

  • Working with the support team to produce how-to content and guides
  • Gated long form content
  • Onboarding campaigns
  • Polls
  • Q&As
  • Podcasts

Bottom funnel:

  • Sales enablement articles
  • Testimonials and case studies

Social media:

  • Support and deliver content marketing strategies across all online platforms and set short-term goals
  • Develop the content calendar, manage tasks and ensure deadlines are met
  • Increase organic reach and engagement of Clarion Gaming’s social media presence through engaging content calendars that service all personas across a 12-month cycle
  • Oversee planning and delivery of these content calendars to deliver timely, engaging content in a range of formats for all product lines across websites, social platforms and email
  • Conceptualise and implement organic campaigns across all channels to support the content team
  • Work with marketing operations team, campaign manager and acquisition manager to service end-to-end optimised customer value journey as part of omnichannel comms
  • Manage the production of content marketing assets for social media in partnership with our external content creators, Repurpose House
  • Manage the organic promotion of all products across webinars, brand views, client fulfilment and podcasts
  • Support on paid media activity where required
  • Community management, in collaboration with the customer success team, managing groups, interacting and engaging with our core social audiences

Knowledge & skills:

  • Proven work experience as a content marketing exec or similar
  • Proficiency in MS Office and WordPress or other content management software
  • Editorial mindset with an ability to understand and predict audience preferences
  • Experience producing content for the web
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and social media analytics
  • Expertise in social media platforms ( a plus)
  • Experience with online community building
  • Project management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and written English skills
  • BSc degree in marketing, journalism or relevant field preferable
  • Interest in esports, igaming and land-based gaming a plus
