Data Expert

My client, a digital marketing company specializing in affiliate marketing and performance-based advertising, is looking for a Data Expert to join their team remotely.
As a Data Expert, you will play a crucial role in building a robust and scalable data infrastructure from scratch and setting up a comprehensive system to manage and analyse data effectively. 
This position requires expertise like that of a Data Architect, with a focus on designing and implementing data solutions specific to the needs of an affiliate marketing company.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a data infrastructure that can support the collection, storage, processing, and analysis of large volumes of data in an affiliate marketing context.
• Set up a proper data management system, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security. Develop data pipelines to automate data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
• Design and implement a scalable database schema that aligns with the company’s requirements, ensuring efficient data retrieval and querying.
• Establish and enforce data governance practices, including data standards, data privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Monitor and optimize data infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure optimal data processing and analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and develop reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and IT, to understand their data needs and provide technical support and guidance.

Requirements:

• Previous Experience: Proven experience in a similar role as a Data Expert or Data Architect, preferably within an affiliate marketing company.
• Expertise in building scalable data infrastructures and setting up data management systems from scratch.
• Proficiency in data modelling techniques and tools, ensuring data models align with business requirements and facilitate efficient analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment, managing time and priorities efficiently.
