Head of UX – Remote Brazil

A world leader in sports betting and gaming entertainment is looking to hire a Head of UX to lead the design and delivery of effective and user-friendly product interfaces for their regional product in Brazil. This is a fully remote role.

We are looking for a talented Head of UX who excels at working in a fast-paced commercial environment and has the highest standards of integrity. The successful candidate must have experience in UX leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• This is an exciting role within a rapidly expanding team with a broad range of responsibilities, including:
• Lead the design and delivery of effective and user-friendly product interfaces across the (a) onboarding, (b) repeat user and (c) payments customer journey.
• Conduct UX audits and oversee the user testing process, using insights gained to improve product UX.
• Monitor and analyse UX metrics (e.g. conversion rates using Google Analytics), adjusting strategies as necessary to improve onboarding conversion, user satisfaction and engagement.
• Work closely with the central Tech team to implement UX designs effectively and optimise site speed.
• Define and maintain design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across our product.
• Manage the lobby management team and curate offers & featured betting markets/games on the app home page to ensure highest conversion from app launch to bet placement.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and CRM teams to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to all user facing aspects.
• Create mechanisms to limit fraud (e.g. bonus abuse) during onboarding.

Specialist skills and experience:

• 8+ years of proven experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on UX design and management
• Previous experience in optimising conversion rates across the end-to-end customer journey funnel, e.g. onboarding
• Deep understanding of UX design principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in UX design software and tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret UX metrics and user feedback
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver successful product launches and achieve business goals
• Excellent written and verbal Brazil Portuguese communication skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of design trends and technologies
• Strong interest in the online sports betting & casino industry Competencies/ behaviours
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
