Infrastructure Architect

We have an exciting opening with a top iGaming company. They are expanding their IT Infrastructure team and need an experience Infrastructure Architect to be based at their office in Innsbruck, Austria. As part of their team of experienced IT professionals, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing their IT infrastructure to support their suite of iGaming products and services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize networks, datacenters, servers, and services to ensure their reliability and performance.
• Collaborate on critical network infrastructure and product rollouts to meet business needs.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data, adhering to regulatory and privacy requirements.
• Create and update IT procedure documentation.
• Provide on-call production support on a rotating basis (with appropriate compensation).
• Work a standard 40-hour workweek.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft environments and Linux systems.
• Strong grasp of firewall policies (Juniper, Checkpoint, Cisco).
• Familiarity with load balancer concepts, preferably hands-on experience with F5, as well as networking, addressing, and troubleshooting tools.
• Competency in Microsoft Windows Server versions 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Familiarity with Linux systems such as Redhat/CentOS, Oracle, and Debian.
• Experience working with various hypervisors (VMware, Proxmox, OpenStack, OpenShift).
• Knowledge of cloud-native approaches like Kubernetes and familiarity with server hardware (Dell, IBM/Lenovo).
• Understanding of storage area networks concepts (Brocade).
• Quick understanding of business needs and requests, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
