My Client is a B2B iGaming platform provider and they are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing team!
All candidates have to be based in the UK and be able to make the occasional visit to the office in Newcastle (one day a month).
Main responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools and best practices.
- Implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and cost optimization.
- Utilize Kubernetes and CNCF technologies to orchestrate and manage containerized applications in production environments.
- Administer and maintain Linux-based environments, providing system support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to enhance software development and delivery processes.
- Continuously research and integrate new tools, technologies, and best practices to optimize development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, resolving issues promptly to maintain uptime and stability.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, process guides, and system configurations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, and actively participate in knowledge-sharing activities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps.
- Experience with automation tools, AWS, Linux, and Kubernetes/CNCF technologies.
- Expertise in Linux administration, including system configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and CNCF technologies, with a deep understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Experience with popular automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Experience with monitoring tools like ELK, DataDog, etc.
- Previous experience in iGaming/iGambling industry is a plus.
