As a Senior Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients’ IT environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in managing servers and a deep understanding of virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, Azure, VMware, and backup solutions like Veeam.
- Efficiently manage and maintain servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues promptly.
- Proficient in deploying, configuring, and managing virtual environments using Hyper-V, Azure, and VMware.
- Implement and optimize virtualization solutions to meet client requirements.
- Implement and manage backup solutions, with a focus on Veeam.
- Ensure data integrity and develop disaster recovery plans.
- Act as a senior-level point of contact for technical support escalations.
Desired experience and skillset:
- Proven experience as a Senior Support Engineer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of server management and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, Azure, VMware).
- Expertise in backup solutions, particularly with Veeam.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Experience working in a client-facing role, providing high-level support and building strong client relationships.
