Technical Compliance Manager

A very successful iGaming business is looking to hire a Technical Compliance Manager to look after their European jurisdictions. 

This is a brand new hire and will have the opportunity to really make the role your own. 

Offered on a hybrid working basis, from their offices on Malta the role will cover:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, standards, and guidelines specific to the iGaming industry from the Live Casino Gaming provider perspective for European jurisdictions such as MGA, UGCK, etc. 
• Monitor and interpret changes in applicable laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance and provide guidance to relevant stakeholders. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, legal, and operations, to ensure compliance with technical and operational requirements. 
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify and address potential compliance gaps or issues. 
• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. 
• Review and assess third-party vendors and partners to ensure they meet compliance standards. 
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to iGaming compliance. 
• Investigate and respond to compliance-related incidents, breaches, or complaints, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures as necessary. 
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and certification authorities to facilitate compliance audits and certifications. 
• Keep accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities, reports, and findings. 

Requirements and Qualifications;

• Solid understanding of the iGaming industry, including knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements. 
• Experience in a compliance-related role within the iGaming or online gambling live casino provider is highly desirable. 
• Familiarity with technical aspects of iGaming platforms, including gaming software, RNG (Random Number Generator), player verification, and responsible gaming features. 
• Knowledge of data protection and privacy laws, such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical compliance solutions. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. 
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage compliance processes and documentation. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
• Professional certifications in compliance or related areas (e.g., Certified Compliance Professional, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are a plus. 

 Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, this has a competitive salary.
