NetEnt has appointed Therese Hillman as its new chief financial officer.

Due to begin the role on January 9, Hillman will replace Maria Hedengren, who announced in June that she would be leaving the company.

Hillman is currently a member of the board of directors at Unibet and has spent the last five years serving as chief executive of Gymgrossisten, a subsidiary of the Qliro Group.

Per Eriksson, president and chief executive of NetEnt, said: “I’m very pleased to welcome Therese Hillman to NetEnt; her experience as CFO and CEO in a digital growth company will make her a strong contribution to the senior management team at NetEnt.”
