iGaming solutions giant Playtech has successfully launched its casino content across GVC Holdings brands in a number of different markets.

Following a long-term extension to the partners’ existing contract, signed in February this year, Playtech games are now available on GVC’s legacy brands in markets such as the UK, Spain, Italy and Georgia. This sees the games made available via bwin, Sportingbet, partypoker, PartyCasino, Foxy Bingo, Foxy Casino and Crystalbet.

In addition, the UK-facing bwin and Sportingbet sites will also launch an exclusive casino tab populated by Playtech games, with this already available on the operator’s Ladbrokes and Coral sites.

The games have also been rolled out in Belgium and Greece, where GVC’s Sportingbet and Vistabet brands are licensed. Games will go live in additional regulated markets in the second half of 2019 and into 2020.

Finally, Playtech has also partnered GVC’s Betboo brand in the Brazilian market, allowing the supplier to build up its presence in Latin America, where it is already live in the Mexican and Colombian markets.

“This programme of key launches represents the first stage of what we believe will be a significant, long-term partnership with GVC,” Playtech chief operating officer Shimon Akad said. “GVC’s desire to bring Playtech’s products and services to all of its customers across its portfolio of leading brands underlines Playtech’s position as the preeminent technology partner in regulated and fast-growing markets.

“We have a longstanding partnership with GVC and we are pleased to see it grow. This deal is a real testament to the hard work of all our teams, especially the innovation of their content and services.”

GVC co-COO Shay Segev said the latest roll-out of content showed the partnership going from strength to strength.

“Playtech’s content has already proved hugely popular with our customers where it is already live and we look forward to rolling it out in further markets over the coming months,” he said.
