Scientific Games pens 12th deal with Sun International

Scientific Games has extended its affiliation with Sun International by signing a 12th contract with the South African casino and entertainment group.

Under the deal, Scientific Games will provide games, systems and table products to the new Sun Time Square casino in Pretoria, South Africa.

The new facility, which is due to open in April of next year, will feature Scientific Games’ slots products such as ‘TwinStar’ and ‘Bally Pro Series V27/27’, ‘WMS Blade’ stepper game cabinets, as well as table games solutions including ‘Shuffle Master’ card shufflers.

“We have been long-time technology partners of Scientific Games, and have every confidence that their integrated and sophisticated systems, games and table solutions will help ensure a successful opening of our new Sun Time Square casino,” Sun International chief financial officer Anthony Leeming said.

Bob Parente, chief revenue officer gaming at Scientific Games, added: “We appreciate Sun International’s expansion of our technology partnership and their recognition of our experienced team and industry-leading innovative games, systems and table solutions to drive player engagement and operational efficiencies at their beautiful new casino resort venture in Pretoria.”
