Ambitious Red Rake appoints new CCO
Red Rake Gaming has bolstered its management team by appointing Jose Javier Marti as its new commercial chief.
With a UK launch expected soon, the Malta-based online and mobile casino content supplier has recruited Marti from NetEnt, where he has served as key account manager for the last three years.
Marti arrives just a month after former Genii sales director Nick Barr was appointed as managing director in Malta. As chief commercial officer, he will be responsible for the company’s development across new regions as it continues its transformation from social to real-money gaming.
Red Rake is already licensed in Spain and Italy and in the last two months has signed agreements to provide its content to Casino Barcelona and VideoSlots.com. It also has licence applications pending in the UK, Portugal and Romania.
“Red Rake Gaming is one of the most exciting upcoming suppliers in the industry,” said Marti in a statement.
“They have created some of the most innovative content of the recent years, their graphics and sounds quality is top class and their games are full of features, bonus games and give the player a great playing experience.”
Red Rake was founded as a social gaming developer in 2011, but changed its focus to real money gaming three years ago.
Carlos Fernández Aguilar, head of business development and co-founder of Red Rake, said: “We couldn’t be more happy to have [Marti] on-board as we are sure his skills and experience will help us tremendously. His addition is also a testimony on our commitment to grow and to meet our clients’ needs.”
Following his appointment last month Barr told iGamingBusiness.com that he was confident new partners would be attracted by the standard of Red Rake’s titles.
He said: “I firmly believe the games being produced are some of the best games in the industry with a strong focus on feature games and bonus games which resonate with players, proven by the fantastic results we see from our clients.”
