Core Gaming confirms MotoGP, Storm Gaming deals
Core Gaming has revealed details of new deals with Dorna Sports, the organiser and rights-holder of the MotoGP motorcycling championship, and digital land-based solutions provider Storm Gaming Technology (SGT).
Under the Dorna Sport deal, Core will utilise its HTML5 framework and WebGL 3D browser technology to develop a Moto-GP branded virtual sports game.
As part of the agreement, British MotoGP rider Sam Lowes will serve as a brand ambassador and will appear with Core at the ICE event in London this week.
“This partnership with Dorna Sports offers our customers the chance to tap into MotoGP, a globally-recognised and revered brand,” Core chief executive Justin Chamberlain said.
Pau Serracanta, managing director of Dorna’s commercial area, added: “Reaching this agreement with Core Gaming is an important step into the world of online gambling, with its virtual sports game giving users the chance to enjoy MotoGP on a whole new level, immersing them even further into the sport they love.”
Meanwhile, Core has entered into a long-term software supply agreement with SGT.
Under the deal, SGT will gain access to Core’s online software portfolio as well as the company’s various slot titles such as ‘Colossus Fracpot’ and ‘Reel Force Five’.
Richard Sheldon, managing director of SGT, said: “The Core content is a proven commercial success. Both companies, and our respective customers, are keen to cement a truly ‘omni-channel’ approach with successful gaming content and shared expertise.”
