Interwetten highlights international growth as revenue hikes in Q1
Interwetten has cited strong performances within German-speaking countries, as well as licensed markets in Greece and Spain, as key drivers behind its year-on-year revenue growth during the three months to March 31, 2016.
Gross gaming revenue for the first quarter came in at €16 million ($18.2 million), an increase of 31% on the amount posted in the corresponding period last year.

Interwetten also noted that more than 68,000 clients utilised its services during the opening three months of 2016, with 12,000 first-time depositing customers also making use of its offerings.
Werner Becher, spokesman for the Interwetten board, said: “29% growth in German speaking countries in addition to a strong performance in our licensed markets (75% growth in Greece and 23% in Spain) as well as 51% growth in other markets underlines that Interwetten is very successful in pre-regulated and regulated markets alike.”
