Scientific Games rolls out iLottery in Pennsylvania
Scientific Games has joined forces with Pennsylvania Lottery to launch a new iLottery online and mobile service in the US state.
The roll-out forms part of a series of legislative initiatives that also includes keno and virtual sports.
The iLottery service represents the first launch that combines Scientific Games' lottery digital products with those from NYX Gaming Group, which it acquired in January.
Pennsylvania’s new iLottery will offer players the chance to win up to $250,000 (€212,300) via games accessible on a computer, tablet or mobile device.
Scientific Games will also provide its responsible gaming controls as part of the deal.
In addition, to support the new service, Pennsylvania Lottery will run an affiliate program in partnership with more than 9,400 retailers to encourage players to sign up for iLottery.
“Pennsylvania iLottery games are a fun, new way to play and win from home or while on the go,” Pennsylvania Lottery executive director Drew Svitko said.
“iLottery is a big part of our effort to meet our players where they already are while generating new funds to benefit older Pennsylvanians.”
Matt Davey, chief executive of SG Digital, the newly created division of Scientific Games, added: “The combination of Scientific Games and NYX earlier this year created a global digital leader across iLottery, igaming and sports betting that offers a breadth of technology, content and managed services to Pennsylvania Lottery and lotteries worldwide.”
