Yggdrasil Gaming has rolled out a new campaign as part of an effort to boost engagement and retention over the festive season.

The €200,000 ($213,800) ‘Christmas Calendar’ will run throughout December, with 31 daily campaigns to cover many of Yggdrasil’s most popular slots, such as ‘Vikings Go Wild’, ‘Golden Fish Tank’ and ‘Holmes and the Stolen Stones’.

In addition to Yggdrasil’s BOOST in-game promotional tools and BRAG social sharing tool, the campaign will feature the new ‘Missions’ tool that encourages players to compete to win big prizes, and ‘Cash Race’, where players can win direct cash prizes in a set period.

Fredrik Elmqvist, chief executive of Yggdrasil, said: “The online casino sector is more competitive than ever, and aside from creating great new titles, we are dedicated to ensuring that our games are backed by a supporting infrastructure that allows operators to keep their players engaged and entertained.”
