Yggdrasil unveils ancient treasures in Mayan Waterfalls
Yggdrasil, a leading igaming publisher, has released its latest YG Masters title, Mayan Waterfalls, the first from its partner studio Thunderbolt Gaming.
Set in an antique temple in the deep jungle, the game features two free spins stages, two bonus wheels and a buy bonus option, providing plenty of excitement and win opportunities.
Every corner of Mayan Waterfalls holds potential, with four different coloured progressive boxes filling up when landing orbs in the base game. When the bonus game is launched, the progress achieved is used in the game’s thrilling Ancient Wheel feature.
Collecting three bonus orb symbols allows access to the Ancient Roulette Wheel which can transport players to the title’s two free spins stages.
The first mode sees eight free spins awarded, played on special reels, with the waxing moon symbol activating one of the four corners making up the grid. The second free spins stage is launched if all corners are activated.
Here, the full moon symbol can activate the reel’s four corners, allowing players to spin the Full Moon Wheel where additional free spins, bet multipliers up to 20x, and wilds can be won.
When the waterfall symbol appears in the game, a waterfall will cover the game reels and turn into a wild symbol.
Mayan Waterfalls is the first title to be released by YG Masters partner Thunderbolt Gaming and is powered by Yggdrasil’s GATI platform. The state-of-the-art technology enables partners to employ the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to produce consistently cutting-edge content followed by rapid distribution.
Mark McGinley, chief gaming officer at Yggdrasil, said: “It’s fantastic to see Thunderbolt launch its debut title as a YG Masters partner and Mayan Waterfalls is a great game to introduce the studio to our operator partners and their players.
“The multilevel bonus features, in-game progression and unique graphics really ensure this game stands out, making it a fantastic addition to our popular YG Masters portfolio.”
Paul Malt, head of games at Thunderbolt Gaming, said: “Developing Mayan Waterfalls together with Yggdrasil is a fantastic milestone for us and we couldn’t be happier with the result.
“We have worked hard to create this title and Yggdrasil has given us all the tools needed to make this a smash hit. Through their wide distribution network, we will quickly reach players in key regions and introduce them to the entertainment and excitement we have to offer.”
