Site Reliability Engineer – Malta

My client, in important iGaming company, is looking for a SRE in Malta.
The main goal is to ensure that internal and external facing systems are always fully functional and secure.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure the continuous availability and optimal performance of critical IT resources.
• Develop and implement security measures to safeguard systems and data.
• Establish protocols, programs, and documentation for the backup and recovery of operating systems and applications.
• Implement and maintain comprehensive system monitoring solutions.
• Resolve escalated service issues promptly and effectively.
• Offer technical support across various domains, including internal systems, cloud infrastructure, network operations, and virtualization.
• Contribute to the administration and upkeep of remote monitoring and management systems.

Desired experience and skillset:

• 3 years of experience in similar roles or related fields.
• Experience with databases, proxies, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
• Configuration management tools.
• Experience with log management and visualization, utilizing tools like the ELK stack.
• Competence in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Ability to create scripts and integrate them with automated solutions such as Ansible and Docker.
• Knowledge of system security

This role has an on-call rotation schedule.
