ParionsSport, the sports betting brand of French gaming operator La Française des Jeux (FDJ), has agreed a deal to become an associate partner of the first regular-season National Basketball Association (NBA) game in France.

ParionsSport, the sports betting brand of French gaming operator La Française des Jeux (FDJ), has agreed a deal to become an associate partner of the first regular-season National Basketball Association (NBA) game in France.

The Charlotte Hornets and the Milwaukee Bucks will face off in the NBA Paris Game 2020 at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris on January 24, 2020.

As part of the deal, ParionsSport will offer customers experiences such as VIP access to the game and meet and greets with former NBA players. NBA prizes will be also be available to win on both ParionsSport’s and FDJ’s social media and online platforms.

ParionsSport will activate in and around the arena on game day, as well as take part in additional fan engagement activities that will be revealed at a later date.

In addition, the partnership will incorporate the new ‘NBA Pick ‘Em Weekly 6 presented by ParionsSport’, a free-to-play prediction game available to fans in France.

The game offers fans the chance to win €1m (£860,562/$1.1m) in cash, as well as tickets to the NBA Paris Game 2020, by predicting the correct outcomes of six games every week during the NBA regular season.

ParionsSport has been an NBA partner since 2018, offering customers exclusive benefits such as access to NBA games in the US, NBA merchandise and products. The partnership is promoted in more than 27,000 retail locations across France and on both ParionsSport’s and the NBA’s digital assets.
