All-in Diversity Project signs Betsson as founding member

Betsson Group has become the latest operator to sign up as a founding member of the All-in Diversity Project, a gambling industry-backed initiative committed to driving greater diversity, equality and inclusivity in the sector.

The gambling operator will work with the organisation and its other members to promote equality across the industry.

Betsson joins the likes of Caesars Entertainment, Scientific Games, International Game Technology, Paddy Power Betfair, Kindred Group and Gaming Innovation Group as founding members of the initiative.

“At Betsson we cherish the fact that every individual is unique; focus on diversity allows us to recognise those individual traits, whilst inclusion is all about embracing the differences between us,” Betsson’s chief HR officer Lena Nordin said.

“We practice inclusion by ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and respected and this creates a sense of belonging to the Betsson family.

“Partnerships with like-minded partners, such as the All-In Diversity Project, allows us to achieve greater diversity and inclusion not only within our company, but also within the wider industry.”

Betsson runs a number of its own diversity and inclusion initiatives, including internal project Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB), which launched this year.

In February, Betsson also established the Women in Betsson (WiBE) network, with the aim of creating a platform to promote equality and the empowerment of women in the industry, and where women at Betsson can network and inspire each other.
