Betfred launches Colorado and Iowa mobile sportsbooks

Betfred USA Sports, the US-facing arm of the British bookmaker, has rolled out online wagering in Colorado and Iowa.

Its new Scientific Games-powered online and mobile wagering apps complement its retail sportsbooks in each state. It will look to attract online customers in Colorado with a risk-free bet of up to $500 for new sign-ups, and a 100% deposit matching offer in Iowa, of up to $200.

Betfred is operating in Colorado through a partnership with Saratoga Casino Black Hawk, agreed in January this year, while its Iowa launch was facilitated by an agreement with Elite Casino Resorts’ Grand Falls Casino Resort, struck in July 2019.

“Launching Betfred Sports online betting in Colorado and Iowa in time for the football season is a significant milestone for us,” said Betfred USA Sports chief operating officer Bryan Bennett said.

“We look forward to utilizing our various partnerships including the Denver Broncos, Sanford International, Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort and Saratoga Casino Black Hawk to grow our online base and take advantage of our unique offers.”
