Stats Perform pens European Handball Federation streaming deal
Through the deal, more than 500 handball matches per season will be streamed live to clients of Stats Perform’s Watch&Bet service. This will include events such as handball’s leading European club competition, the EHF Champions League, and its leading European international competition, the European Championships.
Stats perform chief rights officer Alex Rice said the deal allows a new level of access to a sport that is growing in popularity.
“Handball is one of the leading indoor sports for watching and betting and its popularity is growing across Europe and beyond,” Rice said. “To have secured competitions like the EHF Champions League and the European Championships for the next ten years enables our sportsbook partners to provide their customers with a seamless, consistent, premium handball betting and streaming experience.”
The deal was conducted through a media and marketing rights partnership between marketing business Infront Sports and Media, sports media business the DAZN Group and the EHF and EHF Marketing.
