32Red announces record takings
32Red has announced record annual net gaming revenues of £48.6 million (€63.2 million/$68.9 million) for 2015.
In a trading update, the gaming operator said that it brought in 51% more than during the previous year thanks to growth in its core business and the £5.2 million contribution from the Roxy Palace business that was acquired in July 2015.
32Red Casino saw growth of 34% in net gaming revenues over the course of the year, with other products up 42%.
Chief executive Ed Ware said: “This excellent outcome is a reflection of the strength of the 32Red business, our talented and dedicated team, as well as our first-class marketing and appealing brands.”
32Red added that it “continues to make progress in Italy”, with net gaming revenue in that market up 54% to £1.7 million.
The company also said that early trading in 2016 has been strong across its products with revenues for the first 19 days in January up 27% on the corresponding period in 2015 and up 54% including contributions from Roxy Palace.
32Red added that it expects to report operating profit slightly ahead of expectations for 2015 when it announces its preliminary results in March.
