Bet.pt launches in Portugal with SBTech

Portuguese bookmaker Bet Entertainment Technologies has launched an online sports betting service in the country through a partnership with SBTech.

Bet.pt, which has been handed an online sports betting licence by the Portuguese national gambling regulator, will offer SBTech’s fully managed sports betting solution.

The operator, which is only the second company to gain an online sports betting licence in Portugal, will also offer the firm’s Chameleon360 iGaming platform in-play betting product.

“We selected SBTech because of their innovative, award-winning and comprehensive sports betting and iGaming solutions which address all market challenges and regulatory requirements,” Bet.pt chief executive Ricardo Silva said.

“SBTech’s offering will undoubtedly give us a unique competitive edge and a source for growth, extending our offering even further within the Portuguese market.”

Richard Carter, chief executive of SBTech, added: “This partnership is testimony to SBTech’s credibility and the excellence of our localised offerings in regulated markets; it establishes us as the first B2B sports betting supplier to the Portuguese online gaming industry.”
