Blau becomes CEO of Veltyco
Melissa Blau has been appointed as the new chief executive at gaming operator and marketing company Veltyco.
As part of a management overhaul, the operator has also appointed Rainer Lauffs as chief operating officer.
Veltyco said the senior executive team has been changed to target “significant opportunities” it has identified in new and existing markets.
As part of the reshuffle Uwe Lenhoff and chief technical officer Hans Dahlgren will step down from the board, with the former taking the new role of head of business development.
Gilles Ohana has been appointed non-executive chairman, while Ilan Tzorya has resigned as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Veltyco said in a statement: “The board is pleased to welcome Melissa and Rainer to the board and would like to thank Ilan for his contribution to Veltyco over the last year and wishes him every success in the future.”
Blau has 25 years of management experience in the entertainment and financials industries including 15 years of experience in the gaming industry. She founded iGaming Capital in 2006 and is the finance editor of iGaming Business Magazine.
Lauffs has been working alongside Lenhoff since the company’s incorporation in 2012, managing all gaming projects.
