New Jersey sets online gaming revenue record in April
The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) has announced that the US state was able to break its monthly online gaming revenue record for a second consecutive month in April.
Internet gaming win last month amounted to $17 million (€15 million), which represents an increase of 33.8% on April of last year and up from the previous record of $15.5 million that was set in March this year.
New Jersey’s online gaming win for the year-to-date, through to the end of April, stands at $61.9 million, 29.3% ahead of the $47.8 million posted at the same point last year.
Total gaming win for the state amounted to €215 million in April, 8.1% more than in the same month last year and up from $203.9 million in March.
This figure was boosted by a 6.3% year-on-year increase in casino win, which came in at $198 million last month.
