Pinnacle has confirmed that it has withdrawn its services from Slovenia ahead of a planned overhaul of the country’s gambling regulatory system.
Slovenian customers are no longer able to place bets with the company, although Pinnacle has said it will refund all players that have funds in their now-closed accounts.
A new national gambling framework is set to come into effect from April 1, with companies that are deemed to be operating illegally in the country after that date risking their chances of gaining a licence in the future.
Pinnacle, which last month also withdrew from Poland, is yet to confirm whether it will return to Slovenia after the new system is in place.
