FDJ races ahead with Tour de France deal

French gambling operator FDJ has agreed a deal to become an official sponsor of the Tour de France annual cycling event.
French gambling operator FDJ has agreed a deal to become an official sponsor of the Tour de France annual cycling event.
The two-year deal will cover the 2017 and 2018 tournaments, with FDJ to serve as the ‘official luck supplier’.
FDJ will deploy a series of activations at the start and finish areas of each stage, while the company will also have a presence in the Tour’s Publicity Caravan, which travels to each stage of the event.
In addition, FDJ will distribute 500,000 gifts to supporters at the roadside as the Caravan travels ahead of the peloton throughout the contest.
The 2017 Tour de France will begin tomorrow (Saturday).
