FanDuel lands sportsbook deal with Cordish Companies

Flutter Entertainment-owned FanDuel Group has announced details a new strategic partnership to deliver both its fantasy and sports betting operations to Cordish Companies locations throughout the US.

The Cordish Companies is a real estate and entertainment business that operates a range of dining and gambling establishments across the US under the Live! brand. It claims to attract 55m visitors a year to these properties.

Under the deal, FanDuel and Cordish will initially focus on Pennsylvania, with plans to launch sportsbooks at Cordish’s Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia and Live! Casino in Westmoreland County.

FanDuel and Cordish will also pursue sports betting licences and online gaming opportunities in Maryland, Washington DC, and other jurisdictions across the US as legal sports betting continues to expand in the country.
