Reach plc Relaunches Mirror Bingo with Jumpman Gaming
The UK’s largest print and digital publisher, Reach plc, has relaunched its Mirror Bingo brand as part of a new partnership with Jumpman Gaming.
First launched in 2008, Mirror Bingo has migrated to Jumpman’s platform for the relaunch, having previously been partnered with industry suppliers Playtech and Cashcade.
Mirror Bingo customers will gain access to a variety of bingo, slot and casino games, with a focus on low-stakes play and opportunities to win big jackpots. The platform will also incorporate elements of gamification such as loot boxes, and trophies that customers can collect in exchange for free spins.
This is the third in a series of relaunches to come from Reach, with Star Wins and Express Wins recently returning to market after closing in 2018.
“Jumpman are a young, agile and very successful business in the gaming market, and their approach to player experience, enjoyment and loyalty really impressed us,” Reach head of betting and gaming Mark O'Donnell commented. “We’re delighted to launch Mirror Bingo with them, and also bring back old favourites Star Wins and Express Wins.”
“Just like the media brands, each has a distinct style and audience which means we can welcome players of ages and interests”.
With a monthly audience of over 40m in print and online, Reach aims to capitalise on its position in the media, using its newspapers and websites to generate awareness of the relaunched brands. These efforts will be bolstered by social media and search marketing, as well as a gaming affiliate programme.
David Morris, network manager at Jumpman Gaming, added “We are absolutely delighted to be working with Reach, one of Britain’s biggest, most successful newspaper groups. Just like us, they are dynamic and seize new opportunities in a constantly moving environment and have the customer at the heart of everything they do.”
