Games Global and Wishbone Games head on frosty quest in Kingfisher Winterborn sequel

Wishbone Games, a Games Global exclusive studio, has launched a wintery sequel to the fan-favourite Kingfisher series, Kingfisher Winterborn.

The feature-packed slot invites players into a snowy realm where they spin reels adorned with vibrant wildlife symbols, including frogs, dragonflies and ladybirds. At the heart of the game lie five magical Kingfisher eggs, each with unique modifiers ready to enrich gameplay.

When a Kingfisher symbol lands it can trigger the Kingfisher bonus by pecking at an egg above the reel. Cracking open the egg awards 10 free spins, along with the corresponding modifier for that egg. During these free spins, fish symbols with varying cash values appear on the reels, with each Kingfisher symbol collecting all visible values.

Hatching the egg on the first reel activates the multiplier starting at 1x, increasing with each special ‘X’ symbol that lands. The egg on reel two adds cumulative cash values, starting at zero and increasing by 1x the stake with each ‘+’ symbol. The egg on reel four upgrades low-paying symbols, raising their cash value with every up-arrow symbol that lands. The egg on reel five initiates the respin feature, where heart symbols fill a box on the respin egg. Once filled, Kingfisher, fish and any upgraded symbols become sticky on the reel while the remaining grid respins.

The coveted golden egg on reel three triggers all four modifiers simultaneously, offering players a chance to win up to 6,000x the bet.
