Denmark iGaming Dashboard – Q3 2017
iGaming Business and Ficom Leisure are pleased to present the Denmark iGaming Dashboard, providing revenue and product metrics on the dot.dk regulated market.
The data will be updated quarterly following the official release of figures from Denmark's Danish Gambling Authority.
Looking at the Danish market data, Christian Tirabassi, senior partner at Ficom Leisure, said: “In Denmark, retail sports betting is still dominant for the sector, however, online gaming marked a significant growth, doubling its market share for the period 2012/2016 and kept growing in 2017.
“Online GGR for 2016 amounts to almost €400m and is expected to exceed this number in the future. Online slots, the segment with the largest share in the online casinos sector, contributed about 77% of the total online casino GGR in 2016.”
Another clear trend in the casino sector was that of mobile taking a bigger share of online traffic compared with desktop, as one of the below graphs shows. For more detailed information on the Danish market see the iGB Market Monitor.
Ficom Leisure also provides exclusive monthly estimates on the Italian online market in the Italy iGaming Dashboard, including operator market shares across casino, sports betting and poker, and on the New Jersey market in the New Jersey iGaming Dashboard. It also provides quarterly figures on the Spanish online market in the Spain iGaming Dashboard.
