GIG confirms record revenue haul in Q2
Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has revealed that it was able to achieve record quarterly revenue of €26.6m ($31.2m) during the second quarter of this year.
Overall operating revenue at the firm was up 174% on the €9.7m posted in the corresponding period last year, as well as 15% more than the amount collected during the opening quarter of the current year.
B2C revenue rocketed 213% year-on-year to €20.2m and B2B revenue also rose by 108% to €8.5m, while overall organic revenue growth at the company was up 71% on Q2 of last year.
Elsewhere, earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation climbed from €1m in the second quarter of 2016 to €1.9m this year, while marketing expenses were up from €10.9m in the opening quarter of this year to €11.1m.
Robin Reed, chief executive of GIG, said: “We continue to expand our business at a rapid pace.
“We have made important affiliate acquisitions during 2017 which will strengthen our traffic driving capability and increase activities and volumes for all stakeholders in GIG’s eco-system.
“In parallel with launching innovative iGaming services, we are progressing towards our goal of becoming the leading iGaming company from the Nordics.”
