IGT pens extension with Synot Group
International Game Technology (IGT) has renewed a partnership with the Synot Group by eight years to 2026.
Under the agreement, brokered by its GTECH Sweden Interactive subsidiary, the company will continue to provide system software and game content for Synot’s interactive video terminals in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The deal also covers maintenance and game content enhancements, including installation, operational and technical support, as well as the addition of new games each year.
“Synot Group is a major player in the gaming machine markets in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and we are happy to continue delivering our proven solutions and services in these key markets,” IGT chief executive international Walter Bugno said.
“This extension also further strengthens our relationship with Synot as we look to explore additional joint opportunities in the future.”
Miroslav Valenta Jr., sales director at the Synot Group, added: “With our deep knowledge of players’ needs and our long-term experience in the Czech and Slovak markets, we are able to maintain the leading position in the gaming industry in both countries.
“The system enables a geographically widespread server-based solution, catering to thousands of our players in various locations.
“We look forward to continuing our partnership with IGT and adding new game content and offerings throughout the next 10 years.”
