New Jersey reveals new online gaming revenue record in February
The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) has announced that operators in the US state were able to surpass an online gaming revenue set in January by achieving further success in February.
Revenue in the month amounted to $14.7 million (€13.2 million), a rise of 41.8% on the $10.4 million posted in February of last year and a slight increase on the previous monthly record of $14.6 million achieved in January this year.
Borgata continues to lead the state’s online gaming market, after generating $4.2 million of the total figure, while the Golden Nugget was able to achieve the most significant growth, with its $3.1 million revenue total representing year-on-year growth of 113%.
Total gaming win in New Jersey last month totalled $204.7 million, 14.7% higher than the $178.4 million posted in February 2014 and an improvement on the $190.1 million achieved in January of this year.
For the year-to-date to the end of February, online gaming revenue stands at $29.4 million, 33.7% higher than last year, with total gaming win also up by 5% to $394.8 million.
