Norwegian gambling regulator the Lotteri- og stiftelsestilsynet has announced Gunn Merete Paulsen as its new director.
Paulsen replaces Atle Hamar, who has left the organisation to lead the country’s Ministry of Climate and the Environment.
Paulsen will be familiar with the setup at the Lotteri- og stiftelsestilsynet, having previously worked with the regulator from 2007 until 2015, first as an advisor and later as head of division.
During her time away from the organisation, Paulsen worked as a lawyer for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Paulsen will begin her new role at the Lotteri- og stiftelsestilsynet on August 1.
