NYX extends Romania reach with PokerStars

NYX Gaming Group has announced that PokerStars’ new Romania-facing domain is to deliver content from the company to players in the country.

PokerStars will benefit from the NYX Open Gaming System, which has launched in Romania and will soon be made available to additional suppliers.

The new PokerStars.RO site will feature a selection of games from NYX studios, such as NextGen Gaming titles ‘Foxin’ Wins’, ‘Jackpot Jester 50,000’ and ‘James Dean’.

“It’s great to see that PokerStars.RO will launch in Romania with proven quality NextGen content; this is further evidence of the strong relationship between NYX and PokerStars,” NYX commercial director David Johnson said.

Sam Hobcraft, director of casino at Amaya, owner of PokerStars, added: ”We are pleased to have games from NYX on our new PokerStars.RO domain; the launch of a full licence in Romania will aid our goal of assuming a leadership position in online casino across Europe.”
