Playtika signs shirt sponsorship deal with Sevilla
Social gaming brand Playtika has agreed a multi-million-dollar deal to become the new main shirt sponsor of Spanish LaLiga football club Sevilla.
The agreement will cover the 2017-18 season, with the option to extend further.
Playtika branding will appear on the front of Sevilla’s playing shirts, as well as on signage inside the club’s Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium home ground and on the official team bus.
The company will also create a series of video segments featuring Sevilla players and promote its social gaming options via the club’s various digital channels.
Arik Sandler, chief financial officer at Playtika, said: “The sponsorship agreement with Sevilla, which shares similar values with Playtika, will enable us to reach new and diverse audiences.
“This unique cooperation will strengthen the company’s brands, which are already enjoyed by tens of millions of players around the world.”
The sponsorship deal comes after Caesers Entertainment Corp. last year agreed to sell the Playtika business to a Chinese consortium for approximately $4.4bn (€3.7bn).
