Scientific Games goes live in Romania

Scientific Games has become the latest gaming company to launch its content in Romania.

Gaming content from the company’s SG Interactive division is already online in the country with major operators such as 888 Casino, Unibet and bwin.party.

Content on offers includes slot titles such as ‘Raging Rhino’, ‘Spartacus Gladiator of Rome’ and ‘Zeus III’.

The SG Interactive portfolio of licensed games is now available in a total of 10 jurisdictions across the world.

Bob Hays, vice-president commercial, interactive at Scientific Games, said: “With such a strong audience in Europe, we knew a rapid expansion into Romania focused on providing one of the deepest and broadest portfolios of content to operators and players alike would be beneficial for everyone.

“The players there are passionate about our content, and with many of our existing customers already licensed to operate in Romania, we’ll be able to hit the ground running with our proven portfolio.

“We anticipate this being the first of many efficient expansions into newly regulated locations.”
