| By Guy Parsons
Major in-person event living up to expectations as a consistent flow of industry professionals descend on the RAI.

One of the highlights of the colocated iGB Live!/iGB Affiliate Amsterdam expos is the in-depth educational esports feature, designed to help operators benefit from a global phenomenon generating annual betting revenues estimated to be worth $13bn. Compered by William Harding, Clarion Gaming’s head of esports (pictured), and featuring Ryan Hart, aka Prodigal Son, the most successful fighting game professional player of all time, the feature provides expert insight delivered by Clarion Gaming partners, comprising analytics esports specialists Escharts, esports data provider Bayes, and payments provider Skinsback.

As well as shining a light on the culture surrounding esports the feature includes practical presentations covering various topics. These include data in esports; how to deploy esports influencers as affiliates; and payments and esports. It also unravels key viewership analytics with the core objective of helping the iGB Live! audience to deepen its knowledge of esports betting and underline esports’ credentials as a significant revenue stream.

Commenting on the esports offer at the show, Naomi Barton, portfolio director responsible for iGB Live!/iGB Affiliate Amsterdam, said: “We have assembled sector experts to explain how the industry can engage with esports fans and identify what parts of the esports ecosystem are relevant to the betting market. It’s proving extremely popular with visitors who are hungry for practical insight delivered by experts.”
