Partis announces the appointment of Eamonn Toland and Paul Richardson as partners
Gaming consulting and M&A advisory firm Partis has made 2 key appointments, expanding and enhancing its global team to meet a significant increase in demand.
In the UK, the firm has appointed Paul Richardson as a partner in its M&A practice and in the US, Eamonn Toland is promoted to partner in Partis’ consulting practice.

2022 has already seen record demand for Partis’ services in the thriving US and Canada markets, in Latin America and across Europe. The business is set to surpass its achievements in 2021, when Partis delivered 61 projects for 53 clients, and brokered some of the industry’s most significant M&A transactions.
Recent deals Partis has facilitated include: the sale of Avid Gaming to Entain, the sale of Singular to Flutter and Esports Technologies’ acquisition of Aspire Global’s B2C business, as well as numerous market access and strategic media transactions.
2021 also saw Partis launch its partner business InclineBet, offering specialist marketing services to the US gaming sector. As part of The Conexus Group, Partis is also closely integrated with leading recruiters Pentasia and training provider iGaming Academy.
Partis’ new appointments are:
Eamonn Toland as consulting partner. Eamonn has over 15 years of experience in the gaming industry. Having formerly served as president of Paddy Power North America, Eamonn focuses primarily on strategy and market entry in the fast-emerging North American sports betting and igaming markets. Eamonn has played a pivotal role in many of Partis’ largest North American client engagements in recent years but now takes on a new and expanded role as partner.
Paul Richardson as M&A partner. Trained as a lawyer, Paul has worked in a number of investment and advisory roles and brings 20+ years’ experience of building companies and corporate deal-making to bear on opportunities in the betting and gaming sector. Roles held include MD international and director of strategy and corporate development for Rank Group Plc and SVP international for Galaxy Entertainment.
