Splash Tech gains MGA supplier licence to launch real-money jackpots for first time

Splash Tech, the leading provider of free-to-play (FTP) solutions, has secured a B2B Critical Gaming Supply Licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), paving the way for a landmark expansion into real-money jackpots.
The new jackpot technology allows for jackpot prizes to be added to any existing casino game on a platform, with users contributing to the prize funds on top of their original wager. The highly flexible, innovative solution will enable operators to continually engage players with configurable jackpot prizes, no matter what game they are playing. The technology also allows for a jackpot layer to be added to sports bets.
With the rollout of its real-money gaming product enabled by the MGA licence, Splash Tech can further accelerate its growth across regulated markets, building on the progress made through its free-to-play (FTP) offering. Splash Tech is already a valued partner of some of the biggest names in the igaming industry, including Evoke, Kambi, GiG, Altenar and Bragg Gaming Group.
Adam Wilson, CEO at Splash Tech, said: “Securing an MGA licence represents a major landmark within the growth trajectory of our company. We have already seen the enormous impact real-money jackpots have in the short time-frame that we have been live and can’t wait to roll this incredible feature out across our network.
“We have worked very hard to land the certification and can’t wait to see the reaction as we start to roll out our jackpots product, from partners and players alike.”
