Uruguay office strengthens Altenar’s LatAm support
Altenar’s expansion and presence in Latin America have taken a significant step forward with the opening of a new office in Uruguay.
The continent has been a major focus for the leading sportsbook provider to secure new clients recently due to the change in legislation and regulations regarding betting in several countries.
Altenar is already enjoying plenty of success in the LatAm region and will be better placed to provide support to clients after the opening of the new hub, which is located in Costa Rica Street 1667, in Carrasco, Montevideo.
Around 15 members of staff will be based in the Uruguay office and Altenar’s Americas regional director, Hugo Llanos, is excited by what it will mean for the company’s offering in the region.
“I think it is going to be a good solution for us in terms of the time zone mostly,” he said.
“We do have a lot of activity and products that are to do with this time zone: American sports, Copa Libertadores, Copa America and of course the major leagues around the region such as Brazil, Mexico and others alike. We have customers across the region so it is important to assure them of our commitment to their operations and our support towards their objectives.
“The plan is to get local people here working and also to try and relocate people from our existing offices in order to have a balance between new staff and experienced members of the team.
“That should also help us to replicate the culture we have at other offices as I think the culture we have at Altenar is one of the most important things.”
