Yggdrasil and Reflex Gaming roll out Emerald Isle-inspired hit, Dublin Up DoubleMAX
The 5×3, 25 payline title is set in an enchanted forest where a green-bedecked fairy awaits, while cascading wins are also present in the game that features Yggdrasil’s proprietary Game Engagement Mechanic (GEM) DoubleMAX.
After every win, all winning symbols are removed and at least one extra wild is added to the reels, while the multiplier in the base game doubles. This process can continue until no more wins are possible, with the potential for massive wins as the multiplier climbs. The count resets when a losing spin occurs.
When three or more bonus symbols land, the Free Spins feature is triggered, awarding at least seven spins. This can also be gambled for even more win potential before entering the bonus.
In the bonus, the multiplier count does not reset, leading to enormous chances to win, while the game boasts a max win of 20,024x.
In certain regions, players can progress directly to the bonus with the buy feature. In base play, users can also trigger the Lucky Bet option, increasing the chances of triggering the bonus for a stake increase.
The game is the latest title released in partnership with Reflex Gaming, following Eye of Persia 2. The new launch is part of the YG Masters portfolio, powered by GATI, Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art technology enabling partners to employ the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to consistently produce cutting-edge content followed by rapid distribution.
Stuart McCarthy, head of product and programs at Yggdrasil, said: “Dublin Up DoubleMAX is an exciting new release from Reflex Gaming incorporating one of our most intense GEMs.
“With a multiplier that doubles for every win, huge rewards are possible in this ultra-high volatility creation.”
Mat Ingram, CPO at Reflex Gaming, said: “Working with Yggdrasil allows us to bring exciting concepts to bear with our unique graphical style and approach to gameplay.
“Combining cascading wins, a max payout of 20,024x and an Irish theme, we feel like Dublin Up DoubleMAX has all the ingredients to be a smash hit.”
