Yggdrasil heats up the reels in Burning Blox Gigablox
Yggdrasil and Jelly are set to light the reels aflame in their newest collaboration, Burning Blox GigaBlox.
The latest slot by Jelly to utilise Yggdrasil’s iconic Game Engagement Mechanic (GEM) sees a 6×4 grid filled with classic fruit symbols, diamonds and bars, while supersized symbols are guaranteed to land on every spin, up to 4×4 in size.
On the left-hand side of the reels is a counter, which sees the number of diamonds present correlate to a cash payout, starting at six awarding 1.6x, while 20 or more can award 800x.
Five or more bonus symbols are required to trigger the free spins feature, where every present icon will be converted into either one or two spins per symbol. During this mode, only four diamonds are required to award a cash prize, with more landing leading to an increased payout.
Burning Blox GigaBlox becomes the latest Jelly game to join the YG Masters programme, following jungle adventure Beasty Blox GigaBlox, as the portfolio continues to broaden its range of themes and mechanics from an array of leading industry studios.
The title is powered by GATI, Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art technology enabling partners to employ the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to consistently produce cutting-edge content followed by rapid distribution.
Mark McGinley, chief gaming officer at Yggdrasil, said: “Taking classic concepts, such as the fruity slots graphics, and meshing it with modern mechanics like GigaBlox is one of the highlights of the YG Masters programme, which gives a space for innovation and bold ideas.
“We’re delighted to have worked closely with Jelly for their newest game and are confident fans from all generations will enjoy Burning Blox GigaBlox.”
Victoria Newbolt, marketing lead at Jelly, said: “We’re thrilled to be rolling out our fiery new hit, Burning Blox GigaBlox, as we further grow our portfolio as part of the YG Masters initiative. “Our offering with Yggdrasil is now nine strong and it’s been really exciting for our development teams to incorporate a plethora of GEMs and themes.”
